Sometimes our success means that you have to wait a little longer for your food when we are busy. There is nothing we can do about this, the boys in the kitchen are moving as fast as humanly possible. So we ask for our patience and understanding. If you have none, please go somewhere else, this isn't the place for self important whiners.

At least TRY eating the damn burger with your hands. All you uptight people with your forks and your knives are driving us crazy.
And for God's sake don't order your meat well done.

Chicken Wings

Some of you smart-asses have mentioned that ours aren't real buffalo wings. Well for real buffalo wing sauce you need some ingredients that aren't available in Germany. So we will stop calling them buffalo wings if you will just shut up and eat them.

...is subject to change and availability. With hand cut fries, homemade burgers and sauces we don't always get around to making dessert. We are sorry for this. But did you get everything done today that you wanted to.


The Steaks
Slowly but surely the beef is getting better and better in Germany. We will stay on top of it and always purchase the best meat available. At the moment the absolute best beef on the market here comes from the good ole U.S. of A. It is corn and grain fed and Black Angus beef and is exported by Iowa Beef Packers. The meat has been dry aged for a period of thirty days making the beef more tender and and concentrating the flavor.

General Info
about ordering and eating a good steak.

Fat means flavor.
Fattier cuts mean more taste in the meat and also a juicier steak.

Bigger steaks are better.
A thin steak is not as juicy or tasty. You should consider sharing a bigger steak or taking the rest home before ordering a thin little steak. Roughly the perfect weight for each steak is noted below.

Medium rare is the way to eat a steak.
If you haven't tried it that way, please do.

We generally have the four following cuts on hand.


Flank steak.

Flank steak is cut from the belly muscle. Roughly 1.5-2 cm thick. This steak is slightly fatty, juicy and tender until medium. After medium this steak becomes tougher than a coffin nail.
6 Euro / 100 --- min cut 250g --- Perfect cut 300 - 400g

Sirloin.
Sirloin comes from the hip. It is tender but nearly fat free and a bit dryer.
7 Euro / 100g --- min cut 400g --- Perfect cut 500 - 600g

Ribeye
Cut from the back under the rib. By far the steak with the most flavor. tender and juicy due to the serious marble and fat content. The cook's favorite.
8 Euro / 100g --- min cut 300g --- Perfect cut 450 - 500g

Filet
The American filet has a nice amount of marbling giving it flavor that other filets do not have. Very tender, and if eaten medium rare, very juicy. This steak should by no means be eaten well done.
X Euro (Market Price) / 100g --- min cut 250g --- Perfect cut 350 - 400g


 

 

Fat New York Burgers
All burgers are made from 250+ grams of premium German beef. In other dumps it would be a steak, here it goes through our grinder every couple of hours to become the best burgers in Berlin. Grilled to order and served with our hand cut fries, lettuce, tomato and pickle.

Note: Burger eating does not require a fork and knife
It ruins the burger, violates several laws of nature and drives the cook nearly to the point of running amok with a hot spatula. We don't provide big rolls of paper towel for nothing. Please pick it up and get it into you, it's just better that way.

*** Note re the Fat Stingy Gonzales burger. It is very difficult to find perfect avocados and chilis here in Berlin, where up until 19 years ago there weren't even bananas. Instead of making shitty guacamole with bad avocados, we sometimes choose to have no Gonzales. We are sorry, we don't like it either.
